اعتراضات جهانی جهت احقاق حقوق اتحادیه ای برای کارگران ایران 19 می 2009

چهار فدراسیون جهانی که بیش از ١٧٠ میلیون کارگر را در سرتاسر جهان نمایندگی می کنند در فراخوان مشترکی روز جمعه ٢٦ ژوئن برابر با ٥ تیر ماه را روز اقدام جهانی- با خواست اجرای عدالت برای کارگران ایران اعلام کرده اند. در این روز، در اعتراض به نادیده گرفتن پایه ای ترین حقوق اتحادیه ای کارگران و دستگیریهای مستمر در ایران، تظاهرات هائی در مقابل سفارتخانه ها و دفاتر نمایندگی رژیم ایران برگزار خواهد گردید.

 
به این منظور، فدراسیون جهانی اتحادیه های کارگری (آی.تی.یو.سی)، سازمان آموزش جهانی (ایی.آی)، فدراسیون بین المللی کارگران حمل و نقل (آی.تی.اف) و اتحادیه بین المللی صنایع مواد غذایی، کشاورزی و خدمات (آی.یو.اف) در حال تدارک و تشکیل ائتلافی می باشند که این تازه ترین حرکتی است که در ادامۀ کمپین تضمین اجرای عدالت و حقوق صنفی کارگران در ایران صورت گرفته است. آنها همچنانکه خواهان آزادی فوری و بی قید و شرط  فعالین حقوق اتحادیه ای زندانی و رهبرانش از جمله: منصور اسانلو، ابراهیم مددی، فرزاد کمانگر و پنج تن از نمایندگان اتحادیه کارگران شرکت نیشکر هفت تپه که اخیرا به یک سال زندان محکوم شده اند هستند، خواستار آزادی کلیۀ فعالان اتحادیه ای که در اول ماه می در تهران دستگیر شده اند می باشند. سازمان عفو بین الملل نیز از این کمپین حمایت کرده است.

گای رایدر دبیر کل آی تی یو سی توضیح میدهد: " هر کدام از این نهادها برای حمایت از همکارانشان در ایران کمپین کرده اند و امروز ما نیروهایمان را به هم پیوند می زنیم تا این حرکت را به شکل مؤثرتری پیش ببریم."

" ما تمامی راههای موجود برای یک گفتگوی معقول را، جهت ترغیب رژیم ایران برای برسمیت شناختن حقوق پایه ای اتحادیه کارگری در ایران آزموده ایم. پاسخ آنها فقط دستگیری و سرکوب است. عقیم ماندن این تلاش ها چاره ای برایمان نمی گذارد جز آمدن به خیابانها برای اینکه بگوئیم که جهان نظاره گر آنهاست که چه می کنند و چه برسر همکاران ما در ایران می آورند."

World protests to demand union rights for Iranian workers
Four global union organisations representing over 170 million workers have called a worldwide action day on June 26 to demand justice for Iranian workers. Demonstrations will take place outside Iranian embassies and consulates to protest the ongoing denial of rights and arrests of trade unionists within the country.

The ITUC (International Trade Union Confederation), EI (Education International), ITF (International Transport Workers’ Federation), IUF (International Union of Food, Agricultural, Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, Tobacco and Allied Workers' Associations) are forming a coalition for the event, which is the latest move in an ongoing campaign to secure justice and trade union rights inside Iran. They are calling for the immediate and unconditional release of jailed trade unionist members and leaders including Mansour Osanloo, Ebrahim Madadi, Farzad Kamangar and the five leaders of the Haft Tapeh Sugarworkers’ Union, recently sentenced to a year in prison, as well as the release of trade unionists arrested in Tehran on May Day. Amnesty International has backed this campaign.

Guy Ryder, ITUC General Secretary explained: ‘Each of these organisations has campaigned to protect their colleagues in Iran, and now we are all joining forces to do it even more effectively.’

‘We have exhausted all avenues of reasonable dialogue to persuade the government of Iran to allow basic human and trade union rights. Their answer has been repression and arrests. Given this failure we must take to the streets to demonstrate that the world is watching what they are doing and what is happening to our colleagues within the country.’
